A clip from one of Brittany Murphy's final films "Something Wicked" has been released. A courtesy of Entertainment Tonight, the footage gives the first look at the late actress who plays a psychiatrist named Susan in the thriller. In the clip, she is seen talking to a woman who shares her feeling about losing her parents before getting married.
"Something Wicked" revolves around a teenager and his girlfriend way out of his league who are planning a wedding. Unfortunately, their plans are torn apart by long buried skeletons in each other's past, along with a host of new trials.
Directed by Darin Scott, the film has Joe Colleran serving both as producer and screenwriter. Joining Brittany Murphy in the cast ensemble are Shantel VanSanten who plays Christine, John Robinson who stars as James, and James Patrick Stuart who takes the role of Bill. The film is currently in post-production and is slated to be released in the U.S. in June 2010.
