It is revealed that Tamia has united with fellow female singers Deborah Cox and Kelly Price under the moniker of TDK. They are now busy working with producer Shep Crawford (Whitney Houston) for their first compilation project called "The Queen Project".

"My goal was to highlight the amazing talents individually, while blending them together to unite for this mega project," Shep told BV Buzz about the group's album. "This is a unique union that will provide the music you have come to expect from these three superstars."

Each member of the newly-formed group also offered their comment. Kelly said, "Truly I am excited because what we're doing has never been done before with three women on CD. Each of us in our own right is a true vocalist and while I am loving what we're doing in the studio."

In the same tone, Tamia stated, "It is fun and we have a really good time together. There's something special here musically and we have a genuine bond." Deborah also gave a nod to her partners' statement. "I feel the same way. It's really the most exciting project I've been a part of. ... We have the same sentiments as singers, mothers and wives," she gushed.

The album is plotted to be released in early 2010 with the new group to make their debut performance on October 10 at the Circle of Sisters expo in New York City.
