It is reported that DJ AM's remains have been flown to Los Angeles and his family is currently looking for the perfect spot to lay his body to rest.

AceShowbiz - The remains of late DJ AM have been transferred from Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home in New York to Los Angeles, where his mother has been living. E! News which breaks the report claims the celebrity spinner's body is currently taken care by a funeral parlor while his family is still looking for a proper burial spot.
"[The transfer of the body] was all taken care of by the family," New York-based funeral director Frank E. Campbell says in a statement. "The family just wants everything to be private."
And while there has been no word from AM's family on where his body is held, a representative for L.A.'s Groman Mortuaries has been quoted as telling E! News that the Jewish funeral home was contacted a couple of days ago by AM's family who said they were looking for a suitable spot to lay his body to rest.
Following the update, weekly publication People reports that a private memorial will be held to remember AM's life and career at the Hollywood Palladium in L.A. on Thursday evening, September 3. The ceremony is slated to be kicked off at 7 P.M.
People, moreover, cites a statement on the invitation that read, the memorial will be "a gathering to celebrate the life of our friend Adam Goldstein." In a bid to honor AM's battle with addiction, "the format of the evening will be in the style of an open 12-step meeting," continues the invitation.
"Adam's friends both from his life in recovery, as well as those from other areas of his life are welcome. We ask only that everyone adhere to the tradition of anonymity and let what they hear there, and who they see there, stay there."
DJ AM, who is a close friend of drummer Travis Barker, was found dead at his New York City apartment on August 28. Results of his autopsy remain inconclusive, thus cause of his death will not be determined until further tests are completed in a few weeks.
