A fully constructed Dawn Treader ship has been snapped from the set of 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader', which is located at the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

First on-set pictures of "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" have been found. Released by Coming Soon, the images give out first glimpses at the Dawn Treader ship that will take Prince Caspian, two of the Pevensies siblings Edmund and Lucy, and their cousin Eustace Clarence Scrubb in a trip across the sea.
Photographed at Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, where the film has begun its production since July 27, the huge ship has some colorful ornaments on its wooden structure. A dragon's head is also seen soaring at one edge of the vessel in which much of the film's action will take place.
Produced under a joint venture between 20th Century Fox Film Corporation and Walden Media, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" centers its story on Lucy and Edmund Pevensie who return to the magical world of Narnia with their cousin Eustace. There, they join their royal friend Prince Caspian in a journey aboard the Dawn Treader ship to find the seven lost Lords of Narnia and reach Aslan's country.
Georgie Henley and Skandar Keynes return to the third film to reprise their roles as Lucy and Edmund. Prince Caspian will still be portrayed by Ben Barnes who appeared in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian", while Will Poulter joins the trio as cousin Eustace. Directed by Michael Apted, the adventure movie is planned to be released in U.S. theaters on December 10, 2010.
