TV

The Sydney Bristow of 'Alias' has reached a deal with the Alphabet although it involves no acting.

Three years after "Alias" ended its run, Jennifer Garner is making a return to the network that catapulted her TV career. The actress has inked a deal with ABC to develop some projects through her production house Vandalia Films.

On the downside news, EW reports that there has been no plan for Garner to star in any of the said projects. However, a network insider says, "If Jennifer wants to make a guest appearance no one is going to stop her."

Vandalia Films traditionally backs up indie movies, thus it would be the first time that the house is tackling TV projects.

Jennifer Garner starred on "Alias" for five straight seasons, wrapping it up in May 2006 after the "hit" show received a decline in rating. The first season finale received as high as 9.7 million viewers but the series finale only absorbed 7.2 million viewers. She has not taken any other TV role since then.
