The 20th Century Fox are looking forward to develop a follow-up movie to their 2007 action thriller "Hitman". Providing more info about it, IESB has confirmed that "Hitman 2" is one step closer to materialization with the picking up of a Hollywood's hottest, young writer as the sequel's scribe.

The site further explained that Kyle Ward has been hired by the studio to work on the follow-up movie's script. This newly-appointed screenwriter has written the scripts for upcoming films like Michael Bay-produced thriller "Fiasco Heights" and Bruce Willis-starring action flick "Kane & Lynch".

"Hitman 2" will mark the return of Agent 47 in the big screen after the first movie adaptation of the same-titled video game series garnered nearly $100 million worldwide. The sequel will also see the return of the first film's producers, Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter and Chuck Gordon. No word though whether Timothy Olyphant and Olga Kurylenko will reprise their roles or not.
