The ending of "Jonah Hex" will set up for a follow-up movie "Jonah Hex 2", so claimed Megan Fox. The "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" beauty, who has been tapped to portray Hex's love interest called Leila, addressed the future of the Western anti-hero when talking to MTV recently.

"You don't think there will be a sequel to 'Jonah Hex'?" the 23-year-old first teased. "They leave it open for a sequel." The actress who will soon be seen in horror comedy "Jennifer's Body" additionally explained, "They tweaked the script so there might be a sequel if necessary. I think there might [be a sequel]."

Previously, Fox has told MTV in details about her femme fatale character. Noting that Leila "wasn't really featured in the comics", she described what makes her character different. "[I'm] sort of a tough, no-nonsense prostitute. Like, she'll shoot you in the head if she has to. And she does!" the starlet gushed.

"Jonah Hex" is directed by Jimmy Hayward with Mad Chance's Andrew Lazar and Weed Road's Akiva Goldsman serving as producers. It is based on the DC Comics' Western anti-hero character created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga. Josh Brolin stars as the titular character, while John Malkovich will portray Quentin Turnbull, and Will Arnett takes on the role of a Union soldier who enlists Jonah Hex as a bounty hunter. The movie is set to open in U.S. theaters August 6, 2010.
