Words on the street are, James Cameron will unravel the trailer to his "Avatar" before "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen". Bringing up the speculation to public attention was MarketSaw, which further claimed that the trailer will be 2 minutes and 41 seconds long and shown in 3D on digital screens.
However, The Wrap has come out with a different story. Debunking this already circulating rumor, the site suggested 20 Century Fox have rejected the speculation that the trailer is attached to the "Transformers" sequel. It, on the other hand, noted that the actual trailer to be seen attached to the Michael Bay's film is Paramount's own "Avatar" movie, "The Last Airbender".
"Avatar" is directed, co-produced and written also by the "Titanic" helmer James Cameron. It lines up Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez among the cast ensemble. Set to hit U.S. theaters on December 18, it centers on an ex-marine as he is thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.
Meanwhile, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has been pushed forward to see a June 24 U.S. release. The movie is set a year after the end of the hit 2007 "Transformers" and follows Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) as they become the target of attack by Decepticons due to Sam's knowledge over the origins of the Transformers and their ancient history on Earth.
