A source close to Rihanna informs X17 Online that while the songstress has moved on from Chris Brown's assault, Chris himself is in depression and has been drinking a lot.

Hot on the heels of Chris Brown's not-guilty plea, a new claim has just been brought forth by a source close to Rihanna that Chris currently is "in a depression and is drinking a lot." The source, furthermore, testifies that Chris has "lost a lot of weight, about 15 lbs" and that "he almost got his butt kicked in VA about a week ago."
The source, however, doesn't disclose on Chris' current whereabouts. There hasn't been a single evidence provided to support the source's claim too.
As for Rihanna, she is said to be "doing great". The source tells X17 Online that the Barbadian songstress "is trying to put Chris on the back burner. They still have joint business assets so they are still keeping in touch indirectly." For the time being, "Rihanna is focusing on her new album. She has a lot of creative control so she is doing it her way. This is the first time she has been able to do that," the source continues revealing.
Chris Brown was last seen in public on Monday, April 6 when he attended his scheduled arraignment at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles for a hearing in his assault case involving Rihanna. Elsewhere in Barbados, Rihanna was spotted walking through the Barbados airport with her mother, Monica Fenty, in tow. The mother-daughter duo were snapped sharing a laugh.
