Queen Latifah will star in a modern-day Cinderella tale movie entitled "Just Wright". The Dakota Fanning's co-star in "The Secret Life of Bees" is set to play a female physical therapist who falls in love with a basketball player while helping him recover from a career-threatening injury.

Joining the film's production as its leading lady marks Latifah's second time landing a starring role in a romantic comedy following her role as Georgia Byrd in 2006 "Last Holiday". Aside from toplining the project, the Grammy-winning rapper will also produce the movie under her Flavor Unit banner alongside Shakim Compere and Debra Martin Chase.

"Just Wright" actually has been set up six years ago at Disney. However, the project was shelved before being put into turnaround and then picked up by Fox Searchlight. The movie is yet to have any director or other cast members attached. Still, Searchlight reportedly eye to start the principal photography in May.

Known as a triple threat for her success as rapper, model and actress, Queen Latifah gained mainstream success in feature film after being cast as Matron "Mama" Morton in 2002 Oscar-winning musical "Chicago". The part helped her to earn an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Since then, she has appeared in various films, including "Taxi", "Beauty Shop" and "Hairspray".
