A friend of Hilary Duff tells Star Magazine that the actress always gives hundreds of dollars tips to everyone.

Hilary Duff earns a new predicate beside actress; that is, one of the biggest tippers in Hollywood. Not without reason, but the reputation is given to her because she reportedly left an extra $200 on top of a $250 bill after getting her hair dyed and styled at the Byron and Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills recently.
Greater than that, "She slips hundreds to everyone, from valets and restroom attendants to Starbucks cashiers," a friend of Hilary tells Star Magazine. The friend reveals further to the publication that Hilary never tips fives, tens, or even twenties, but hundreds of dollars.
Speaking of the actress' generosity, the friend explains Hilary gives big tips because her mother Susan, who used to work as a make-up artist, often received lousy tips from her celebrity clients. Her generosity reportedly has influenced boyfriend Mike Comrie to do the same. "Before dating Hilary, Mike was tipping the regular 15 percent," the friend says. "Now he's up to 50 percent!"
