Illusionist-comedian Ed Alonzo will show several magic tricks, one of which is putting Britney Spears into a big box and slicing her up, during the singer's forthcoming tour.

Britney Spears' forthcoming roadshow dubbed "Circus Starring Britney Spears" to support her sixth studio album "Circus" will feature magic tricks, illusionist-comedian Ed Alonzo confirms. "Right away, she got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she's so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it," the magician says.

"We're going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech," Alonzo explains more to E! Online. "We'll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish, an appearance - and if I do a trick, she doesn't just hold the props, she's actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up."

"It's going to be an amazing concert for people to watch," Alonzo promises. "It's like watching a big Cirque du Soleil high-tech circus, but with a really focused star in the middle of all of this."

"Circus Starring Britney Spears" lines up The Pussycat Dolls as a musical guest. Produced by AEG Live Entertainment, the tour will be started on March 3 at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA.

Prior to the "Circus" tour, Britney Spears will premiere a music video for her controversial single "If U Seek Amy". In the "very provocative" video, she will be seen playing a sexy housewife with plot sequence of Britney "coming outside her house to hand the paparazzi an apple pie that she baked" and acting "like she wants to hook up."
