No explanation has been released by Usher's people concerning his wife Tameka Foster's condition after reportedly suffering complications due to plastic surgery.

AceShowbiz - Usher's wife, Tameka Foster, has experienced complications from plastic surgery which she had in Brazil, Access Hollywood reports. That was why the R 'n' B singer has been forced to cancel his performance at Clive Davis' annual star-studded pre-Grammys party on Saturday night, February 7, in order to be by her side.

A neurosurgeon, Dr. Gabriel Hunt, of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, has flown to South America and arrived in Brazil on Sunday evening. Nevertheless, there has yet word on what is really going on with Tameka.

Usher and Tameka Foster, who used to work as his stylist, have been married since August 2007. They have two sons; Usher Raymond V who was born in November 2007 and Naviyd Ely Raymond who was born in December 2008.

Announcing Usher's withdrawal from the Recording Academy and Clive Davis' pre-Grammy Gala was Clive himself. The music mogul told party-goers the singer had to bow out due to a "serious injury in the family."

As of press time, there has yet record on Tameka's latest condition.
