A series of fresh "Terminator Salvation" images has been unearthed via Screen Week. Unlike the previously-released photos which take their focus on exposing John Connor, Marcus Wright and the terminators, these new pictures feature two key members of the Resistance, Moon Bloodgood's Blair Williams and Common's Barnes.

Two of the pics display Resistance pilot Blair Williams, who takes Marcus Wright to the Resistance base, holding up her gun to defend herself. In one of the images, she stands tall pointing her gun at something or someone unseen, while on the other one, she seems to be engaged in a battle and takes cover behind a holed wall. The rest of the stills serve as a close-up look at Common as Resistance soldier Barnes, who is also one of John Connor's closest friends.

Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, "Terminator Salvation" is the fourth feature film installment in the "Terminator" franchise. It follows a stranger whose past could not be justified, Marcus Wright, as he joins John Connor, the man whose fate is to lead the resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators.

Having veteran composer Danny Elfman set to score the music, the McG-directed sci-fi action thriller stars Christian Bale and Sam Worthington as John Connor and Marcus Wright respectively. Both of them are joined by Moon Bloodgood, Common, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard and Helena Bonham Carter. The Warner Bros. movie itself is slated to be released in the U.S. on May 22.
