Celebrity

"I want someone to build me a good chicken coop," Reese Witherspoon tells USA Today of her Christmas wish.

Contrary to the Hollywood glamor that she lives as a movie actress, Reese Witherspoon opts for a traditional celebration for this coming Christmas, wishing to get a "good chicken coop" and hoping someone would like to build one for her. To USA Today she reveals that in addition to serving southern specialties; turnip greens, pecan-coated sweet potatoes and sugar-baked ham; she will take her children, Deacon Phillippe and Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, to the family farm outside of Los Angeles.

"We feed the chickens and the pigs - I have two pigs, and boy are they really pigs. They just get down in that mud and roll around," Reese tells USA Today. "I like getting down in there and working in the garden. Oh, I want someone to build me a good chicken coop ... like a man who can just get down there and build it ... ooh."

Though so, Reese won't neglect her Christmas ritual, caroling around the Christmas tree and going to the church. She will also watch the annual pageant where Ava and Deacon, her children with former husband, actor Ryan Phillippe, will perform.

And as the holidays are approaching, Reese Witherspoon previously told People that she will have "a lot of communication" and "just being very open" with Ryan to share the custody of their son and daughter. "I'm very lucky in that we raise our kids to just be happy," she claimed.

Meanwhile, Reese is tied to do the promotion for her comedy, romance flick "Four Christmases". The movie, set to hit the U.S. theaters next Wednesday, November 26, sees her co-starring with actor-comedian Vince Vaughn.
