Following legal action filed by Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa over alleged breach of contract, Michael Jackson has to enter the court room against the son of an Arab monarch, but latest info from Michael's lawyer, Robert Englehart, reveals that the singer may not attend the trial. "It would be unwise for him to travel, given what's he's got now," Robert said without elaborating his statement.

Sheikh Abdulla sues Michael over a $7 million financial support for the singer to work on an album and an autobiography that he allegedly never produced. The sheikh also reveals that he has splashed out $500,000 in cash to subsidize Michael's lifestyle and a $350,000 European vacation for Michael and his associates in February 2006.

Michael indeed admits he failed to meet any obligations the sheikh may have expected, but insists that he never signed an official agreement and claims that the payments he received from the sheikh were gifts. He furthermore states that the court case is based on "mistake, misrepresentation and undue influence."

"I would never pay anybody millions of dollars for nothing in return," the sheikh responds on Michael's defense as quoted in a statement read to judge Mr Justice Nigel Sweeney. A request has been made to have Michael testifying from the United States via video link at some point during the scheduled 12-day hearing.
