After mounting talks of a wedding, Mark Wahlberg has finally confirmed he will marry his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his children, Rhea Durham, August next year. Though so, the actor doesn't mention the exact date and venue.
Entertainment Tonight broke the news after being told by Mark during a press conference for his latest flick "Max Payne" Sunday, October 12, he and the model have been talking about holding a nuptials next August. On why he and Rhea pick the month, Mark simply said, "It's a good month."
Mark and Rhea are longtime lovers. They have been dating since 2001. They are parents to three children; Michael, Ella Rae, and a newborn baby boy, which according to reports, is named Brendan Joseph.
Back in June 2008, Mark told People magazine he and Rhea had been planning to walk down the aisle soon after their third child was born. "She wants to wait until after the baby. We've been very fortunate. We've waited and worked hard to really strengthen our relationship. We want it right," he previously explained on waiting so long to get married. "We're ready. I'm ready. She's been ready, but I think you know, we both come from broken homes and we want to succeed."
Speaking about his current wedding plans with Rhea, Mark admitted, "We're not inviting yet."
