Keeping their lips tightly sealed about the extent of their relationship, Madonna and Alex Rodriguez add fuel to the rumors that they're dating after they've been spotted enjoying a cozy dinner at Dos Caminos Third Avenue on Tuesday, September 30. US Weekly broke the news and cited a source as saying the rumored lovers "seemed very close."

Rumors of Madonna dating Rodriguez have been abuzz since early July this year. The pop superstar was believed to be the third person behind his divorce to wife Cynthia Scurtis, who cited "emotional abandonment" and marital infidelity by him. Not without reason, but the dating speculation presumably was prompted by him being seen making late-night visits to her N.Y.C. apartment. He was even reported to make donation to her charity Raising Malawi.

A lawyer for Cynthia claimed Rodriguez had an "affair of the heart" with Madonna. A friend of him also told US Weekly, "he [said] he was in love her."

Much contrary to the allegation, Madonna's high powered spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg denied her celebrity client has a fling with Rodriguez, confirming "Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There's really not anything to comment on beyond that."

Madonna herself also set the record straight on that matter, saying "I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study."

There has yet comment from Madonna and Rodriguez about their latest meeting.
