A teaser trailer for Fox Searchlight Pictures biopic "Notorious" has come out for fans enjoyment. It opens with the voiceover from Notorious B.I.G. himself describing about his hopes 10 years from the day he speaks and where he thinks he'll be. Then, it is followed by the display of the rapper's life from his childhood to the fast lane. The short footage also teases B.I.G.'s mother, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Faith Evans.
Highlighting the short life of Christopher Wallace a.k.a. B.I.G., "Notorious" is to chronicle the journey Wallace experiences throughout his life from his life in the streets of Brooklyn to his rise to stardom when he used his narrative talent to tell about violent life on the streets. Dubbed to be one of the most influential hip hop artists of all time, B.I.G. was shot to death on March 9, 1997.
In this drama flick, Jamal Woolard stars as the titular character. He is supported by multiple award winner Angela Bassett as B.I.G.'s mother Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Diddy, Antonique Smith as Evans, Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur, Anwan Glover as Snoop Dogg, Naturi Naughton as Lil' Kim and others. It will hit the big screen on January 16, 2009.
