Country music trio Dixie Chicks decide to drop their six songs from the soundtracks of forthcoming film titled "The Lucky Ones" after they reportedly fail to reach an acceptable deal regarding payment with the movie's distributor, Lionsgate. "Unfortunately, the Lionsgate deal could not get done, so the Chicks decided to keep the song," the band's spokesperson says.

Following the cancellation, Emily Robison, Natalie Maines, and Marti Maguire reportedly give rooms for the songs in their upcoming album. Unfortunately, the titles of the tunes as well as the release date of the album haven't been announced yet.

Additionally, "The Lucky One" is a drama movie which is directed by Neil Burger. The film is about a trio of Iraq war veterans, played by Rachel McAdams, Tim Robbins, and Michael Pena, who return home after involved in a rough fight. It has been screened this week on September 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival and slated to hit the theaters on September 26.
