Vanilla Ice is a free man now that prosecutors have dropped the domestic battery charges brought against him by wife Laura Van Winkle. Laura, as stated in the court order, recanted her original allegations, insisted any physical confrontation was accidental.

Vanilla Ice was busted on April 10 outside of his home on Trianon Place in Wellington for an alleged altercation with his wife Laura who allegedly called 911, claimed her rapper hubby "struck" and "kicked" her during a heated argument. To authorities she said that Vanilla Ice "started yelling at me for going out to buy a bedroom set. In front of my daughter."

Ice did tell the deputies that he and his wife had been arguing, yet denied pushing her, insisted his wife is "bipolar and takes medication but still has irrational and argumentative episodes and had thrown a picture frame from a rear balcony to the ground, where it shattered near him and their 8- and 10-year-old children."

Ice was released from a Palm Beach County, Fla., jail the next day, April 11.

There were no independent witnesses to the alleged assault as the charges were dropped on Tuesday, April 29. Here's the legal document obtained by TMZ.
