On the continuation of the Bob Dylan's project to get several artists to complete Hank Williams' unfinished songs, one of the collaborators Jack White has spoken on his contribution. White speaks more elaborately on what Dylan is trying to do with the country singer's materials that were not done before his death in 1953.

Speaking to MTV White explained, "Bob's putting together an album. He came upon, somehow, 20-25 unfinished songs by Hank Williams: just the lyrics, no music, and he started to ask people if they would finish these songs." Back in November last year White reportedly worked on Williams' unfinished "You Know That I Know" at Blackbird Studios in Nashville with engineer Joe Chiccarelli.

White also revealed other musicians that Dylan have tapped beside him and Dylan himself. "He did one, asked Willie Nelson to do one, asked me to do one, and I think Lucinda Williams and Alan Jackson are on it too," White added.

In the same interview White also revealed that he has his own project that is not part of his bands The White Stripes and The Raconteurs. He said, "There's some other stuff I have coming out, but I can't tell you about it all just yet. You'll have to be patient!"

Country music legend Hank Williams died when he was only 29, allegedly after injecting morphine and B12 to his body. He was found unresponsive in the back of his car whereupon was found hand-written lyrics to an unrecorded song. In tribute to him, Dylan gathered some musicians to finish the 'lost' songs that he acquired and mold it into one new album. No date has been set for the release.
