Winners of the 65th annual Golden Globes were announced Sunday, January 13 hot on the heels of the on-going writers strike. There was no awards ceremony like usual, only a news conference held by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in Beverly Hills, California.

The biggest winner in TV category was "Longford." The 2006 drama television film, aired on Channel 4, walked away with three awards; Best Mini-Series Or Motion Picture Made for Television, Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Jim Broadbent, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Samantha Morton.

AMC's drama series "Mad Men," which depicts the changing social mores of early 1960s America, was the second big winner in TV category, took away the awards of Best Television Series - Drama and Best Performance by an Actor In A Television Series - Drama for Jon Hamm.
