Beyonce Knowles, who cancelled her concert in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur, will now appear in Indonesia's capital city that day.

Post pulling off her Malaysian concert, Beyonce Knowles announced that she will switch the venue to its neighboring country, Indonesia. The supposed Kuala Lumpur date on November 1 will now be replaced with a Jakarta date that was not within the tour schedule previously.
Beyonce's cancellation in Malaysia is explained as "scheduling conflict" although speculation points to her unwillingness to abide the country's strict dressing code rules. The Indonesian capital city has less stringent rules regarding performers wardrobe compared to Kuala Lumpur.
Pineapple Concerts Organizers Chairman Razlan Ahmad Razali admitted being disappointed upon the decision. ''Though Indonesia is also a Muslim country, it doesn't have all these issues that we have,'' he told The Associated Press. ''She can perform as she likes there.''
The Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage in Malaysia introduced rules in 2005 stating female performers must show no skin from the tops of their chests to their knees.
In July, Gwen Stefani was faced with the same case when she was about to perform in Kuala Lumpur's Putra Indoor Stadium the next month. She chose to go by the rules and went on with the show although she said it was "a major sacrifice".
