The twosome have worked on recent movies coming from the company, with Vaughn starring in 2005's hit "Wedding Crashers" and Witherspoon playing the female lead in the upcoming thriller "Rendition." As for the project, the duo is said to portray a couple who struggle to visit all four of their divorced parents' homes on Christmas day.

Apart from being in the cast, Vaughn and Witherspoon will also serve as the producers alongside Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jon Glickman of Spyglass Entertainment. Meanwhile, Vicky Jenson is in charge to direct based on script by Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson with Emmerich, Mark Kaufman, and Michael Disco all overseeing the movie for New Line.
