Post-grunge outfit Seether is making their return with a new album that will befall October 23. The South African based band will release "Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces", their first album in two years.

Frontman Shaun Morgan hinted that this piece would promise more variable sound although not much a departure from 2005's "Karma and Effect". Morgan said, "You won't pick this album up and hear German polka music. I think the point was to try and explore the poppier side of the band. Having said that, we explored the heavier side of the band too. It's an album of extremes, or oxymorons, in a way."

The band is currently residing in Los Angeles to work with producer Howard Benson in the studio. "This is an album where I'm going to be proud of all the songs for a change, because there were so many to choose from, from the beginning," Morgan told Billboard.com.

The new album will be the band's first work as a three-piece following the departure of lead guitarist Pat Callahan in June 2006.

Tentative tracks to appear on the album are "No, Jesus Christ", "Breakdown", "Fake It", "6 Gun Quota", "Walk Away From The Sun", "Rise Above This", "FMLYHM", "Don't Believe" and "Waste". First single "Like Suicide" will be out in late August.
