Set to strive together as one team, Ludacris, Nick Cannon, and Emilie De Ravin of "Lost" fame have all come onboard to star in ensemble drama "Ball Don't Lie", an indie production coming from Night and Day Pictures.

Based on Matt de la Pena's novel of the same name, the project centers on a teen basketball prodigy, played by newcomer Grayson Boucher, who struggles to deal with life on the streets. Also starring are Rosanna Arquette, Ricardo Chavira, Steve Harris, Evan Parke, Harold Perrineau, James Pickens Jr., Dania Ramirez, Matthew St. Patrick, Cress Williams, Mykelti Williamson, and Robert Wisdom.

No word yet on production schedule, but it is learned that Brin Hill is set to direct from the script he penned alongside de la Pena as well as to take care producing matters with Michael Roiff. The latter last carried out the same task in Adrienne Shelly's final film "Waitress" which has already collected almost $12.5 million since its release on May 2.
