Another Hint of Blur's Reunion
Music

Blur has been growing interest of their fans as they keep talking about the highly anticipated reunion.

AceShowbiz -

Abruptly stopped making music in late 2003, Blur has sparked another rumor of reunion. Triggered by the involvement of drummer Dave Rowntree's involvement in politic, bassist Alex James explained that there is a need to be working together again.

James wrote in his The Independent column, "It's good that everyone seems to have found their own niche outside of Blur and, ironically, Dave's second coming as a politician is more likely to reunite us than anything. We'd all grown to resent the fact that we needed each other and now that we no longer seem to, we can face each other again...".

Before this rumor, vocalist Damon Albarn said in 2006 that his heart still belonged to Blur but he refused to reform the group without guitarist Graham Coxon who departed from the band in 2002. One month later James revealed that there had been a talk between him and Coxon to reunite whereby Coxon was said to agree rejoining the group. Another report said that the band's reunion might not be long lasting since the plan is limited to "making the final album".
