The collaboration between Girls Aloud and Sugababes has shown a good result. Dubbed "Girls Aloud vs. Sugababes", they cover Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" that immediately goes #1 in UK Singles chart in the first week. It becomes Girls Aloud's third British #1 and the band's 15th successive top ten single.
At No. 2 Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" featuring Akon still maintains its last week's position. Following behind is another newcomer in the chart and the official song for Comic Relief 2007, "(I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles" by the Scottish band The Proclaimers that collaborates with comedians Peter Kay and Matt Lucas.
Take That's "Shine" is shoved down to No. 4 after last week's glory at #1. And what seems to be persistent, The Fray's "How To Save A Life" preserves the slot #5 for four weeks. Sitting on the third position last week, Kaiser Chiefs' "Ruby" has to fall down to No. 6 this week. Meanwhile, Mika's "Grace Kelly" slips one place from 6 to 7.
Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around Comes Around" falls 4-8 in its ninth week just one place ahead of Camille Jones' "The Creeps". At the last place of Top 10 is "Acceptable In The 80s" by electric musician Calvin Harris.
