With the coming of more Hollywood's household names, sure "What Just Happened?" is going to be an all-star flick worth waiting for.
Following the inclusion of Robert De Niro into the cast, another five well-known stars have smoothly been added to the list: Sean Penn, Bruce Willis, Stanley Tucci, John Turturro, and Kristen Stewart. All will come together under the direction of Barry Levinson as they enter production scheduled to begin March 22 this year.
Written by Art Linson whose memoir the flick is based on, "Happened" sees De Niro play Ben, a film producer who tries to maintain his dignity as his soul is slowly destroyed by the machinations of Hollywood and the breakup of his second marriage. Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban's 2929 Productions are funding the comedy with Linson, De Niro, and Jane Rosenthal seating as producers.
