Well, he should become one great addition to the lineup indeed. Rogue Pictures, through co-presidents Andrew Karpen and Andrew Rona, has confirmed yesterday, January 29 that Academy Award-nominated actor Bob Hoskins is positive to play opposite Rhona Mitra in its action-thriller project "Doomsday."

The next directorial project of British filmmaker Neil Marshall after "The Descent", the picture will see Mitra portray Eden Sinclair, a member of an elite group of specialists assigned to go to a country infected with virus known as the Reaper. Meanwhile, Hoskins will appear as Bill Nelson, a career policeman who nominates Eden for the mission and monitors its progress.

Production on the movie is slated to start February 9 this year in South Africa with Alexander Siddig, Adrian Lester, Nora-Jane Noone, and Chris Robson co-starring. Apart from helming the flick, Marshall is also on duty to pen the script while Crystal Sky Pictures' Steven Paul plus Benedict Carver are set to produce for Rogue in association with Intrepid Pictures.
