A Royal Premiere for
Movie

The London premiere of "Casino Royale" held on November 14 was attended by Queen Elizabeth II along with some other celebrities.

AceShowbiz - For the second time, James Bond got the royal treatment in London. Yes, the agent's 21st big screen installment, "Casino Royale", has become the next Bond film after "Die Another Day" to have its world premiere held in the city as the annual Royal Film Performance which Queen Elizabeth II attended.

Taking place in Leicester Square on Tuesday evening, November 14, the screening also saw a number of celebrities walking the red carpet, among them were Elton John, Sharon Osbourne, and Sting, as well as the picture's cast members like Daniel Craig, Eva Green, and Judi Dench.

The hype surrounding the flick has been clearly visible in the city even before the screening date. Famous department store Harrods has decorated all seventy-two of its windows with a "Casino Royale" theme while displaying an Aston Martin DBS car as used by Bond in the movie.

Even the traditional changing of the guards ceremony outside Buckingham Palace also had its share in marking the launch of the film as the Band of the Scots Guards played Bond music in a nod to the premiere.
