Music City, Inc. has on Monday Nov 5th held the inaugural ceremony to induct artists into the Music City Walk of Fame. The ceremony, took place at Hall of Fame Park in downtown Nashville, was presented by founding sponsor Gibson Guitar.

Among this year inductees honored are country stars Reba McEntire and Ronnie Milsap who both earned the commemorative markers. Other honorees were the world-famous Fisk Jubilee Singers, rock and roll pioneer Roy Orbison as well as late Nashville Symphony Conductor Kenneth D. Schermerhorn and Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, Nashville's first full-time songwriters.

The Music City Walk of Fame on Nashville's Music Mile, which was created earlier this year, pays tribute to artists from all genres of music who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville and have contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration.
