This probably will be one mother-daughter project worth waiting for. Production Weekly has revealed that British starlet Keira Knightley is teaming up with her mother, playwright Sharman Macdonald, to bring up "The Best Time of Our Lives1" to the big screen.

Already attached to the picture since its inception four years ago, Knightley is going to play Welsh poet Dylan Thomas' childhood friend named Vera Phillips. The movie itself, scripted by Macdonald, will be made based on the life account of Thomas with taking focus on his complex relationship with his wife also Phillips and her eventual husband, William Killick.

Production of the film is expected to begin in April 2007, the week after Easter, with British filmmaker John Maybury at helm while Rebekah Gilbertson and Sarah Radclyffe will produce. Maybury and Knightley previously worked together in "The Jacket" which Adrien Brody also starred.

Knightley, widely known for her role in "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, initially began her acting career at age seven through a TV feature "Royal Celebration" before making her Hollywood debut as a decoy to Natalie Portman's Padme Amidala in "Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace." She landed an Oscar nomination earlier this year for best leading actress category through her performance in "Pride and Prejudice."
