Once again assuming multiple jobs in her next project after "Bathory", Julie Delpy has been confirmed to star and direct in a new big screen feature of which screenplay she has penned, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.

Entitled "2 Days in Paris", the movie is a romantic comedy set over a 48-hour period in Paris and also features "Dazed and Confused" star Adam Goldberg in the cast list.

In the film, Delpy and Goldberg will play a neurotic couple name Marion and Jack whose relationship becomes the center of the film's story. As the two try to strengthen the bond with romance in Paris, the effort turns out to be a misguided attempt for Jack as the city is not only Marion's birthplace, but also the home of several of her ex-boyfriends as well as the place where her high-maintenance, non-English-speaking parents live.

Received an Oscar nomination in 2005 for her writing work in "Before Sunset", Delpy has appeared in more than 40 screen projects of either French or American productions throughout her acting career. Her recent credits include "Broken Flowers", "The Hoax", and "The Legend of Lucy Keyes."
