AceShowbiz -

Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Who are only two of the many music acts set to play the upcoming U.S. version of the Virgin Festival, which is about to be held on September 23 at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

The festival, presented by Virgin Mobile, will also visit Toronto on September 9-10, thus marking the first time the longstanding U.K. festival has left its shores.

Besides the two previous music acts, the festival will also feature the likes of The Killers, The Flaming Lips, The Raconteurs, Scissor Sisters, Gnarls Barkley, Keane, Thievery Corporation, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, New Pornographers, Wolfmother, Drive-By Truckers, Kasabian, Brazilian Girls, and many more.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale July 22. Capacity at the Pimlico infield will be 60,000, and general admission tickets are $97.50. A limited number of VIP tickets will be available.
