Jimi Hendrix's closing performance at Woodstock on Aug. 18, 1969 will soon be released in a DVD

Memory is something too precious to be forgotten and erased from our mind. With such realization in mind, Jimi Hendrix will, on September 13, release the DVD "Jimi Hendrix -- Live at Woodstock."
The double-disc set will depict Hendrix's closing performance at Woodstock on August 18, 1969, which is considered by many as one of the most iconic moments in rock history. Moreover, it will also capture the singer's only performances with the extended backing band Gypsy Sun And Rainbows.
The DVD, which is going to be released via Universal Music and Experience Hendrix and will marry the street a day earlier in the U.K., includes some bonuses, like "The Road to Woodstock" documentary, a contemporaneous press conference and "A Second Look," which blends black-and-white video footage with color clips from alternate angles.
