After the photos showed their being together, Us Weekly has just now publised a story quoted Florio as saying "he tried to kiss me" while he was still with Aniston. Yet, she refused him because she did not want to get involved with someone married.

The story then emerged public opinion that Pitt had cheated on Jennifer Aniston. Florio's manager, Anthony Messina, on the other hand, insisted that Florio had been quoted incorrectly and that the article was wholly false. He issued a statement lamenting "journalists who lack credibility," which didn't affect much anyway as Us Weekly publicist, Claudia DiRomualdo, said that the magazine will stand by its story.
