this is a movie driven by filmmaking, and Granik's skill behind the camera drives a lot of the narrative forward, and of course, McKenzie's performance.. for the most part Leave No Trace is an effective and emotionally affecting father/daughter story
an absorbing, delicately directed and acted father-daughter drama.. The movie takes its time, but in its unassuming way, draws you close and keeps you there
a lovely film to behold.. Granik unfolds a simple story, with the subtlest of artistry, just as she did in "Winter's Bone"... A refreshing look at humanity in general, "Leave No Trace" is a universal, unforgettable experience
