**Bridget Jones's Baby** (titled Bridget Jones's Baby: The Edge of Reason in the US) is a 2016 British-American romantic comedy film directed by Sharon Maguire and written by Helen Fielding and Dan Mazer. Based on Fielding's 2013 novel of the same name, it is the third installment in the Bridget Jones film series, following Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004). The film stars Renée Zellweger as Bridget Jones, a Londoner who becomes pregnant after a night of passion with two men (Patrick Dempsey and Colin Firth). The film's supporting cast includes Sally Phillips, Shirley Henderson, James Callis, David Bower, and Gemma Jones.
