Saving Hope is a Canadian medical drama television series that premiered on CTV on June 7, 2012. The series follows the lives of the doctors and staff of Hope Zion Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. The series was created by Malcolm MacRury and Morwyn Brebner, and stars Erica Durance, Michael Shanks, Daniel Gillies, and Michelle Nolden. In the Season 4, Episode 14 preview, Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance) and Dr. Charlie Harris (Michael Shanks) are faced with a difficult decision when a patient's life is on the line. Meanwhile, Dr. Joel Goran (Daniel Gillies) and Dr. Shahir Hamza (Huse Madhavji) try to help a patient who is suffering from a rare disease.
