Still in General Ahmed Ali's crosshairs, Alex answers his phone and shouts that the embassy's been seized. Ali snatches the phone and discovers he's speaking to Walter Larson, who attempts to negotiate with him. "You have a choice," Walter explains. "Watch your country get carpet-bombed back to the Stone Age by the entire U.S. Fifth Fleet, or become the next president of Pakistan." Walter wants Ali to use the crippling secrets unveiled in Zaman's psychiatric file to take him down and seize power.

The fleet aboard the USS Grant prepares for their mission, but Commander Dougan stops Jammer and Zeke to tell them they're not flying. They need to undergo a battery of tests to ensure they're fit to fly after being held prisoner. Zeke asks the Admiral to bypass the red tape keeping him out of the air, but the Admiral reveals he's using it to keep "f**k-ups" like him out of his way. "You want to help this war son?" the Admiral asks. "Jump off the f**king ship."

After getting the rest of Zaman's psychiatric file from Hassan, Alex and Rafiq deliver the pages to Ali who continues to negotiate his takeover with Walter. After coming to terms, Ali informs Zaman that he's secured the girls and taken control of the U.S. embassy. Walter asks to speak with Alex, whom he directs to a gun hidden in Ambassador Kittredge's humidor. Alex will have to shoot Zaman in the head if the takeover goes south.

Grounded with Jammer, Zeke contemplates the disappointing turns his life has recently taken. The two men decide to soothe their troubles by drinking Blue Curacao liqueur that Jammer has disguised in a Listerine bottle. Before long the duo is in better spirits -- and drunk out of their minds.

Walter begs Joanne to convince Sec Def Pierce to get the president to call off Operation Infinite Wisdom now that he has a better plan in place. Joanne is unwilling to put her career on the line for a husband she no longer trusts, but changes her mind when Walter reveals that Pakistan set off a nuclear device.

General Ali returns to Zaman's presidential palace and announces his betrayal while Rafiq and Alex anxiously observe. Heated arguments break out among the men, but Ali succeeds in seizing power after reading Zaman's psychiatric file to the other generals. He reveals the leader's darkest psychosexual secrets -- among them, his enjoyment of eating the genitalia of young men who have sex with his wife. With Ali in power, Rafiq takes a photo of Alex and Zaman to send to Walter.

Walter meets with Pierce, who's still angry about their earlier tussle in the Situation Room. Pierce fires Joanne but quickly changes his tune when Walter shows him the photo of Zaman and Alex. Pierce tells him that the palace is on the air strike list, and the two men rush back to the Situation Room to get President Navarro to call off the operation just in time.

Unfortunately, Zaman has a devastating confession to make: Before he was arrested, he launched a fighter jet towards Israel, armed with a nuclear missile. With the jet just two hours away from Tel Aviv, the president and his cabinet scramble to come up with a solution. The closest aircraft carrier, the USS Grant, just sent nearly every pilot into Pakistan. It's now up to a very drunk Zeke and Jammer to save the world from nuclear war.
