Joey Jordison: 'Slipknot Will Go On'
Music

Masked rockers Slipknot will continue without Corey Taylor if he chooses to quit as the band's singer.

AceShowbiz - Corey Taylor has expressed concerns about carrying on with the group following bassist Paul Gray's 2010 death, but drummer Joey Jordison insists Slipknot will record and tour again.

He says, "As far as I'm concerned, Slipknot's my baby and I have a bunch of songs written. And I'm in rehearsal right now with all the guys and it's completely on fire."

They will test Gray's replacement Donnie Steele on upcoming European festival dates which they committed to before Gray's fatal drug overdose and Jordison claims the guitarist is "doing a great job".

Bandmate Shawn 'Clown' Crahan admits he will have mixed emotions when the band hits the stage for the shows without Gray: "I'll be in tears before I even hit the first stair. And I need it very much, and we need it... It's gonna be very hard."
