will.i.am Against the Release of New Michael Jackson Album

Calling the people who would like to distribute the late singer's 10 never-before-heard songs 'freaking parasites', will.i.am thinks it is simply disrespectful.

has condemned plans to release a new album more than a year after his death - calling the proposal "bad" and "disrespectful". The King of Pop's former manager, Frank DiLeo, recently confirmed a posthumous record featuring 10 never-before-heard songs from the "Thriller" hitmaker will be released this November.

The album will reportedly contain tracks recorded in the 1980s as well as more recent collaborations with artists including . But the star, who worked with Jackson on his re-released 2008 "" album, is refusing to support the project, insisting his music hero would never have agreed to the idea.

He tells the Associated Press, "I don't think that should ever come out. That's bad. He was a perfectionist and he wouldn't have wanted it that way. How you gonna release Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson ain't here to bless it? Now that he is not part of the process, what are they doing? Why would you put a record out like that?"

"Because he was a friend of mine, I just think that's disrespectful. What's wrong with what he already contributed to the world? So what? You don't disrespect someone when they're gone... How much can you suck from his energy?... Freaking parasites!"
