Director Planning '300' Sequel

Filmmaker Zack Snyder reveals that he eyes a sequel to his hit war film and hopes to bring Gerard Butler back although his character died in the first movie.

Filmmaker Zack Snyder is set to revisit ancient history and is planning a sequel to his hit war film "". And even though his star was killed off in the first film, the "" director has every intention of bringing the Scottish actor back.

Snyder tells WENN, "He knows how much the women love him with no clothes on, so I'm sure he'll make himself available."

"300" grossed $28,106,731 on its opening day, March 9, 2007 and ended its North American opening weekend with $70,885,301. The success broke the record held by "" for the biggest opening weekend in the month of March and for a Spring release. However, "300" March record was broken by Tim Burton's "".
