Muse Joined by The Edge When Paying Tribute to U2 at Glastonbury

In respect of U2 who was forced to withdraw from Glastonbury, Muse invited The Edge during their set and together they rocked 'Where the Streets Have No Name'.

's Glastonbury dream was reignited on Saturday night, June 26 when joined British rockers onstage for a rendition of "Where the Streets Have No Name". The Irish band was forced to scrap their Friday evening, June 25 appearance at the U.K. music festival after frontman was admitted to hospital for an operation on his back last month.

Damon Albarn's band stepped in to take their place, but U2's presence was still felt at the festival. During their encore at the bash at Worthy Farm in Somerset, south-west England, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy announced a special guest, telling the crowd, "This is our friend The Edge." The guitarist then took center stage as the band performed U2's 1987 track "Where the Streets Have No Name".

Saturday at Glastonbury was a day for star-studded guest appearances - made her debut at the festival to perform "Any Which Way" with the . And the Aussie pop star stunned revelers when she kissed frontwoman Ana Matronic, as well as singer Jake Shears.

Minogue, who pulled out of a headlining slot at the festival in 2005 after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, was thrilled with the set, telling her Twitter.com followers after the show: "All I can say is WOW!!!! Thank you Scissor Sisters for an amazing night!! Love you."
