Muslim Protest Occurred On Set of Katie Holmes' 'Son of No One'

The small protest from people from a nearby mosque was soon settled after movie bosses removed a sign referring to Islamic holy book, The Koran.

and ' new movie sparked outrage on the streets of New York on Friday, April 9 - local Muslims gathered to protest the use of a prop which referred to Islamic holy book, The Koran. Pacino was filming scenes for "Son of No One" with his co-stars and in Queens, when worshipers from a nearby mosque came together to complain about a sign mentioning the religious text, which had been posted in public view.

Movie bosses reportedly co-operated by removing the item from the site, according to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.

A source tells the publication, "Pacino, Ray Liotta and Channing Tatum were all on set. There was a small protest from people from the mosque across the street about the sign, but the crew were respectful and agreed to take it down."
