Eric Clapton, Bette Midler, the Scissor Sisters and more have signed up to perform the first Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band show in 40 years.

AceShowbiz - Yoko Ono was joined by a star-studded line-up including Eric Clapton, Bette Midler and the Scissor Sisters on Tuesday night, February 16 to perform the first Plastic Ono Band's show in 40 years. Clapton joined bassist Klaus Voorman and drummer Jim Keltner onstage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. Both Voorman and Keltner are members of the original line-up that recorded John Lennon's anthem "Give Peace a Chance" in 1969.

Meanwhile, Lennon and Ono's son Sean Lennon, Paul Simon and his son Harper Simon, Martha Wainwright, Sonic Youth and Mark Ronson also took part in the concert.

Midler sang a rendition of track "Yes, I'm Your Angel", which Ono wrote for Lennon when he grew anxious about turning 40. The Beatles' legend was shot dead two months after his 40th birthday in 1980.
