AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion has gone emotional due to the success of her ongoing tour. Upon learning that she had a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden, the "Girls in the Hood" raptress revealed that she was "tearing up."
On Tuesday, May 21, the 28-year-old hip-hop artist shared with her fans, famously known as Hotties, her reaction to her new milestone amid her "Hot Girl Summer Tour" via social media. Taking to Instagram, she wrote in the caption of her new post, "Hotties I am really back here tearing up."
On the reason why, Megan stated, "We really got a SOLD OUT show at the most famous arena in the world @thegarden like huhhh???" She went on to say, "NYC hotties lets have a BLAST TONIGHT. I LOVE YALL #HOTGIRLSUMMERTOUR," adding a slew of flame emojis.
In the same post, Megan treated social media users to a video from backstage. In the short footage, it could be seen that she was walking past a poster that read, "WELCOME TO THE GARDEN MEGHAN THEE STALLION. TONIGHT SOLD OUT."
The clip also documented the "Hiss" rapper seemingly doing a sound check before the concert started. She was filmed stepping on the stage while rocking a sizzling all-black outfit. She also used her latest single titled "BOA" as the background music of the video.
During the Tuesday concert, Megan surprised concertgoers by inviting Cardi B as a guest performer. In the middle of Megan's performance, Cardi appeared on the stage, prompting the packed audience to scream out loud. The two belted out their collaborative track "WAP", which was released in 2020, in their matching all-black get-ups.
At one point, Megan and Cardi were joined by GloRilla, who has her own set during "Hot Girl Summer Tour". While Glo was rapping in front of the concertgoers, Megan and Cardi showed off their skills in dancing. Megan even twerked on Cardi before the audience cheered on them.
