AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner is supportive of her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. If a new report is to be believed, the actress wants her former spouse to work on his marriage to Jennifer Lopez amid their marital issues.
"Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen," a source exclusively told Us Weekly. "She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy."
The insider went on to note that Jennifer knows firsthand that being in the spotlight "can put a strain" on their relationship.
A source previously told Page Six that Ben believes "there is just no way" his marriage to J.Lo "is going to work." The source added, "He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he's come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work."
However, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that they are trying to work things out, despite their differences in how they handle public attention. "They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention," the source said.
Despite the speculation, neither Ben nor J.Lo has publicly commented on the rumors. The "Atlas" star recently "liked" an Instagram post about unhealthy relationships, while Ben was spotted without his wedding ring over the weekend before putting it back on for an outing with J.Lo and their blended family.
J. Lo, for her part, recalled being starstruck upon meeting Barbra Streisand and referenced Ben's engagement ring during a recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". "She was very nice and wound up giving me kind of advice on movies that has stuck with me," the pop star said. "She commented on my ring at the time, that Ben had given me years ago."
Still, J.Lo avoided directly addressing the divorce rumors swirling about her and Ben. Instead, she discussed her upcoming tour and joked about her "sexy" stage performances being awkward for her children.
